A Name Revealed
And as he lifted his arm holding a mighty spear it seemed that his face took an other worldly form.
His eyes turned black and seemed deep and sunken in. His grin widened maliciously showing many teeth before the present enemies. His stature doubled as it's lengthening shadow crept to his enemies feet. Then, with a heavy fall he dropped down walking like a dog yet still in one hand holding his weapon. Then he spoke
"who's first?"
The enemie number was 50 strong yet none survived. Angdler cut through them with great fury and terror. Tearing limb from body and flesh from bone. After the battle his true nature returned and he stood there amidst the remains of those who had stood against him. He thought to himself
"who have I become? What have I become? "
"am I still a Man?
Then before him suddenly like a streak of light from the heavens appeared a form. It's voice wrapped in echo and filling all space.
"Angdler, why do you lament? Is this not what you desired?"
Responding without thought of who or what stood before him he answered "no!" "this carnage, this brutality was not my design or desire. "
"Angdler, you are no victim of fate. You choose a path and have walked down it. "
"then what have I become?! What is this beast, this demon that rises in me?"
The being walked towards Angdler and touched his chest. At once he saw a vision.
The vision was this,
I tall grand city stood at peace and untouched but then a wind swept in and destroyed it's tall buildings. After the wind came a plague born on the backs of rodents. This plague ensued for months and stretched out till almost the whole of the city to the last man was destroyed. But then came a fire that destroyed all the rats, the plague, burning the bodies and the decaying buildings. Then after some time and after much rain the ground was cleansed and from it sprung a flower that had not been seen by the eyes of Men in an age.
This flower was a conduit from the heavens of both light and life like the moon before the Sun.
Angdler saw all this in vivid detail and felt every touch of sorrow, hope and peace. After some time he asked the being what the vision meant.
"The city is you. Before this time in your youth you were destroyed and brought low. The little you had was taken from you and your life was set on fire. A plague was set upon you and those you were close to because of you. Then came the rain washing away all you past. You are the flower also, for a judge like you are now has not been raised since ancient times and the spirit placed upon has not walked amongst men since the Great Tiger of Men from the East was king. The sprit's name is Red Dragon.
