Engaging Defeat 2 Beyond the Abyss
All is black.
I hear, there is nothing to be heard. I breath. My breaths are labored and burning. Slowly I roll to my side and open my eyes. I see, looking out upon this place I am alone. The mockers have passed on and I have passed through the darkness. My body aches and I feel the cry of each muscle as I sit up. I will not relent. I will not surrender. I get to my feet. The weight of my body is different now. It sits different now. The excess has been cut away, now I must heal. I move forward and the echoes of old memories cry out. I can barely withstand them. I will not relent. I will not surrender. I will move forward beyond this darkness. Though now I move alone, like this it will not always be. The wind carries me forward and I hear within my heart "never alone, never lost".
All is before me now, forward.
